Some recent studies on collaboration and thinking indicate that we are shooting ourselves in the foot when we have too many meetings in the morning. Another interesting find:

one question – “Where do you do your best thinking?” – received the most surprising answer: only around 10% of people responded “at work”.

I'm very fortunate that my job allows me to work at home once or twice a week. If the thinking above is correct, then we would all benefit from more flexible workplaces.
