Today most will gather with friends and family, roast turkeys and sweet potatoes, watch football, or go shopping. With the majority of the cooking done, there's a lot of downtime before the big feast. So I took some advice from a friend and decided to make this Thanksgiving a day of giving thanks. I'm spending my morning sending notes and cards to everyone that I know to show my appreciation for them. Receiving a simple note about how others appreciate you is a great way warm someone's heart. Radiohead Responds to Download Stats: Says They're False | TechConsumer

Here's a quick update on Radiohead's pay-what-you-wish experiment. ComScore, a market research firm published a report last week showing dismal sales, with a majority of fans offering nothing for the download. The band said the report was false, that they couldn't possibly know the numbers from the outside, and that it's too early to tell. Hopefully a Radiohead representative will offer their own numbers soon and clear this up.

Google announced today that they are indeed releasing a mobile phone OS called Android. The news comes on the heels of much speculation about whether or not Google will actually release a phone. For those like me who salivate at the idea of a cellphone with a giant bundle of integrated web apps, this is good news. It never did make sense for a SaaS company to get into electronics manufacturing, but a partnership with a cell-maker is in the cards. More details in the FAQ over at PC World.
