Information Architecture Planning is hot again, as more companies are looking to consolidate disparate IT systems into a single framework. This summer I'm learning a lot about what it takes to become an Information Architect (IA) while working as a summer associate at BMS. The most exciting part about working in IA is that it truly combines the art and science of business. It turns out that many successful IAs have art and philosophy background too. My father Steven Spewak literally wrote the book on Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP), so I feel like this kind of work is in my blood.
